Third Thursday is a monthly event in 2024 to meet Sac Valley orchard advisors and other industry members in a casual setting and get timely updates on issues we’ve been seeing in the field.

The next Third Thursday is scheduled to combined July and August as a field day this month:

Orchard management topics:
The first hour will feature lunch, a UCCE talk and Q&A on an orchard topic relevant to the time of year. In August, Dr. Pat J. Brown will discuss the UC Davis Walnut Improvement Program and tour the newly planted walnut variety trial at the CSUC University Farm
