Pomegranate and Citrus HLB Extension Meeting

Please accept an invitation to a pomegranate and citrus extension meeting being held at University of California, Davis on October 31st, 2023. This event starts at 8:00 am and will feature short talks for half a day from faculty from the University of California and University of Florida.
The topics are related to ongoing research and outlooks on pomegranate production in California and Florida as well as HLB tolerant citrus. Topics covered include efforts to mitigate blackheart and other fruit rot pathogens, the economics of pomegranate production, and HLB tolerant citrus selections.
In the afternoon, there will be an opportunity for a small number of attendees to visit the pomegranate germplasm block at the USDA-ARS National Clonal Germplasm Repository.
